In today’s episode, I chat with Alvaro Amat, Design Director at
the Field Museum in Chicago. We talked about the future of museums
post Covid-19.
Artist and architect. Álvaro has over 25 years of experience in art
and creative direction, from sculpture and installation, to
architecture and exhibition design. He worked as an artist, architect, and educator for 20 years
in Mexico and Spain, and then became the design director at Field
Museum in Chicago, where he has created over 80 temporary
exhibitions and 10 permanent exhibitions. His work has been shown
in galleries in Chicago and in Mexico City, and has been
interviewed by The New York Times and The Chicago
Tribune.
